The third is the boundary with South End along the Rail Trail, where larger, newer cafés in ground-floor retail pull a co-working and commuter crowd that includes plenty of Dilworth residents who walked over.
Notable in the mix: bakery counters that sell as much coffee as pastry. On East Boulevard, a bakery is often the more practical morning stop than a dedicated café, and it is where you are most likely to run into neighbors.

Dilworth Coffee is the name most people search first, and it is worth clearing up: it is a Charlotte roasting company that took the neighborhood's name, not a single storefront at the center of Dilworth life. Sunflour Baking Company operates a long-running East Boulevard bakery that functions as a de facto neighborhood coffee stop — pastry case first, espresso alongside (fuller venue notes here). Not Just Coffee, a Charlotte independent, has locations in and around the Dilworth–South End corridor including near the Atrium campus.
Beyond those, the corridor supports a rotating set of smaller independents and a handful of chains at its edges. Because the small ones turn over, the durable advice is the geography, not the roster: walk East Boulevard between Euclid and Kenilworth and you will pass most of the options.

Working for a few hours. Choose a larger room with visible outlets and a mid-morning weekday slot. Dilworth's smallest storefronts seat two dozen people and are not designed for long stays; South End's Rail Trail cafés are, and they are a short walk from the neighborhood's northern edge.
A short meeting. East Boulevard is the right call — it is central, it is walkable from most of the historic grid, and it puts you next to lunch options if the conversation runs long.
