Image License and Photography Usage

The terms that govern every photograph, illustration and map graphic published on Discover Dilworth.

Last updated August 1, 2026

Ownership

All photography, illustration and map artwork published on Discover Dilworth is original work created for this publication. It is protected by copyright and is not released into the public domain, and it is not offered under a Creative Commons or other open license.

What is permitted without a separate agreement

  • Viewing images in the browser as part of normal reading of this website.
  • Linking to a page on this site that contains an image, including sharing that link on social platforms where a preview image is generated automatically.
  • Search engines and other automated indexers displaying thumbnails in results, subject to the directives in our robots.txt file.

What requires written permission

  • Downloading, copying, hosting or redistributing any image file.
  • Use in marketing material, listing presentations, brochures or printed collateral.
  • Use in another website, application, publication or editorial article.
  • Modification, cropping, retouching, compositing or training of machine learning models.
  • Any commercial use, whether or not attribution is provided.

Requesting a license

Licensing requests are handled through the image licensing section of our contact page. Include the page URL, the specific image you would like to use, the intended placement, the territory and the duration of use. Rates depend on the scope requested, and some images may be restricted where a property owner or business has limited how their space can be depicted.

Attribution

Where a license is granted, credit should read “Photograph courtesy of Discover Dilworth” with a link to dilworthluxuryhomes.com unless the agreement specifies otherwise. Attribution alone does not substitute for a license.

Third-party and rights-managed material

A small number of images may depict businesses, public art or interiors owned by others. Copyright in the photograph does not transfer any trademark, personality or property release rights, and licensees remain responsible for securing those clearances where required.

Reporting a concern

If you believe an image on this site infringes your rights, our DMCA and takedown policy explains how to submit a notice. Broader site rules are set out in our Terms of Use.
