Last updated August 1, 2026

Plain language summary

If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, send us a formal notice with the details listed below and we'll investigate and remove infringing material promptly. If your own content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice. This document is a template provided for transparency; it is not legal advice, and we recommend the site operator have it reviewed by counsel before relying on it.

1. Our policy

Discover Dilworth respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

2. Filing a takedown notice

If you believe content on this site infringes a copyright you own, send a written notice to our designated agent (contact below) that includes:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized agent.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail (such as the URL) for us to locate it.
  • Your contact information — address, telephone number and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

3. What happens next

Upon receiving a valid notice, we will review it, remove or disable access to the material identified as infringing where warranted, and notify the party who posted the material, if applicable.

4. Filing a counter-notice

If you believe material you posted or that identifies you was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice that includes:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material removed and its location before removal.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or Mecklenburg County, NC, if outside the United States) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material within 10–14 business days unless the original complaining party notifies us that they've filed a court action.

5. Repeat infringers

Where applicable to user-submitted material, we reserve the right to remove content and restrict access for parties determined to be repeat infringers.

6. Designated agent

Send DMCA notices and counter-notices to our designated agent through our Contact page with the subject line "DMCA Notice," or by email to npeters@yourleaderinluxury.com. Please use this process only for genuine copyright claims — misuse of this process may carry legal consequences under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
